Mrs. Carter,
I am truly sorry about your dear husband of 64 years. Please accept my deepest sympathies and some words of comfort from God's Word, the Bible.
Our merciful, heavenly Father sees and understands what you are going through, and he is there for you. (Psalms 145:18,19) So please call upon and accept all the help from "our God who supplies endurance and comfort."~~Romans 15:5~~
Our loving God and Creator did not intend for us to die, so he purposes to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (Job 14:14,15; Acts 24:15) Knowing you will see your dear James again will hopefully bring you some comfort during your hour of loss. I will also include you in my prayers.
