Dawn and Ms. Connie and family , I just saw where your Mom passed. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. I remember her smiling face and her friendly attitude. I will always remember when we first moved to Lugoff, she was doing the welcome wagon and she came to our house with her basket of goodies. I had never seen anyone do that before and I thought it was so cool. She just made everyone feel loved and welcome no matter where you were. And when I think back to high school some of my favorite memories are the band competitions and they were always there, cheering us on. I remember your Dad driving the band bus. God bless your entire family and all those who knew her during this diffiucult time. May He give you peace and good memories to cherish.

Connie, George, Billy,Lex and Dawn,
You are in our hearts and prayers. I have so many fond memories of Aunt Bootsie and Uncle Marion. From Momma and Daddy driving us over on Thursday nights to watch Dean Martin in color to playing on the military buses in the back yard. Or the time Momma and Aunt Bootsie went to see Dr. Zhivago 4 times then bought me the sheet music "Lara's theme" for me to lean. I remember the time Aunt Bootsie sent a copy of the article she wrote about Mr and Mrs Erlon G. Burwood and daughter Tammy of Sumter visiting for the weekend. That article made a little girl feel like a celebrity!
All of the King children are together again. What a reunion they must be having! Sam and I send our deepest sympathies and all our prayers. Rejoice in knowing your mother and daddy are now together walking the streets of gold! May God keep you in his care.We love you all.

God bless Aunt Bootsie and Uncle Marion. It is hard to believe that all of that generation in our family has now passed away. All those King brothers and sisters. We did not know how rich we were with all those aunts and uncles to raise us and set examples for us. .. the big reunions at 320 Boulevard when we all played and ate. Days that seemed to last forever. I miss the security and the closeness of it all. I never had a worry or a care with such a family. We were indeed rich. I remember spending the night at the Glovers, and getting homesick and calling out for Aunt Bootsie during the night. She would console me while Uncle Marion went to the kitchen to fix himself a snack. And I remember Aunt Bootsie's love for "Days of Wine and Roses", and for Dean Martin. I remember her laugh, and how young she always seemed. Keep those kinds of memories in the deepest part of your heart, and you will always have your mother near....and you will always be rich. Love.....Glenn King

We just saw where Eleanor passed away and we wish to offer our sincerest prayers and sympathy to all of the family during this loss. We have been gone from Lugoff for 10 years and living in Kernersville, N. C. but that does not mean that we forget the people that we cared so much for. Our prayers will be with all of you during this time. The wonderful part is that she is with our Lord and you Dad now.
Please take care and now that our thoughts are with you and that the Lord will comfort you during this time of sorrow.
