I truly miss my Uncle Jack. He was a part of me, my life, my Mama and Grandma and Grandpa. Another little spark of me has winked out. We all know he's in a better place and we should not grieve; however, I still do. I will be thinking about you in the days to come.

To Uncle Jack's girls:
We love all of you and hate that we were not able to be with the family for the service. Uncle Jack's smiling face and wonderful sense of humor will surely be missed. I can't wait to see him and Aunt Viola again in heaven. Hope to see all of you at the reunion this summer.
Love, Bo, Laura and Brittany Perkins

Trisha, Drusilla, Rudene and Maude --- We love all of you and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Jack and Aunt Viola were always special to me. I loved to hear Uncle Jack sing and pray. He would get so excited. Now, they are together again. I wish we could be with all of you during this time but please be assured that our hearts are with you.
I also love and appreciate all of you for what you do for my mom and dad. Your mom and dad had four special daughters.

Glory Hallaluah, Uncle Jack has reached the destination he has been planning for since he was a teenager. He is now experiencing first hand what he has been preaching all these years. What a reunion it must have been in heaven on Tuesday afternoon. You girls are so tremendously blessed to have had such Godly parents. What a legacy they have left for each of you to follow. Comfort yourselves with the fact that although he has left your presence, he will never leave your hearts and you will see him again if you faithfully serve the Lord as he did. Uncle Jack has "fought a good fight, he has finished his course, he has kept the faith." He is now receiving his crown of righteousness from the Lord Himself. I can hear the Lord say, "well done good and faithful servant, enter in to the joys of the Lord." Uncle Jack will be missed by all those who knew him and we are all better off for having had him in our lives. We love each of you girls and you will remain in our prayers.

Dear Burke Family, we feel honored to have had such a wonderful man in our presence. I still remember his comforting words when he preached our mother's funeral many years ago. We seldom ever know someone so gentle that when we hear their name, we are filled with joy and peace. This was Reverend Burke. You are in our hearts during this time of loss.

Doc Burke was a great friend and inspiration
during my time in Camden. He was like a mentor
to me. He loved the Lord and now he's with him.
When someone like Jack Burke passes its more
like a promotion than death. The loss is ours
to deal with for he is with the one who loves him
more than anyone in this world. May God bless
his wonderful family and help them through
this difficult time. A time when no words are
sufficient may we say we love you and most
important, Jesus loves you.

Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you all and praying for you. I know it would have to be hard. BUT WE DO KNOW THAT UNCLE JACK is in good hands.
I always loved Uncle Jack and Aunt Viola. They always let me come stay some in the summer with Drusilla. They were two of the sweetiest people. My life is better because of them.
Uncle Jack, visited Brownsville Assembly when the revival was going on in Pensacola, Florida. They stayed with Tracy and I. We enjoyed them so much. We went to a resturant the next day after he had went to the revival with my Dad. He could hardly sit still. The power of God was still all over him. He was truly a man of God.
We Love you all. I am so sorry that I can not be with you during this time.
With all our love and prayers, Maxine and Tracy
