I was so sorry to hear of Matt's passing. What a beautiful lady, inside and out! I agree with what Tami Goff wrote, she would greet you with that glorious smile and say "Hello Love"! She was always such a sweet, wonderful person. I know heaven received her precious soul with open arms.Her wishes to donate her body further showed what a special, caring person she was. I will remember her with warmth always.

Such a beautiful lady in spirit and body. Matt and Thurston delivered many different goodies to the sick each week. I remember so well when they visited my grandmother (Corrie McIntyre Baucom) each week with generous gifts. I would usually be at my grandmama Baucom's and looked forward to a nice visit with Matt each week. My mother, Mildred Smith was living with and taking care of my grandmother at the time. Mother and I enjoyed their visits more than they knew. Matt was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. She would tell us about how she loved to cook for her family. She was so generous. What a wonderful lady.

Aunt Matt was a "Beautiful" woman in spirit and appearance. I always knew the sincerity in her heart when she would greet you with as she could say it "Hello Love." Billie and Dot, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. The Paschal and Goff family has lost a very special lady. While we are sad here, don't you know that there is some kind of special reunion going on in heaven!

Miss Matt was a special inspiration to me while I attended and later joined Blaney Baptist Church. She always made me feel welcomed and accepted, and it was in large measure because of that that I decided to be baptized and join the church. I will miss her. My sympathies to all of her family, but especially to Ed and Sandra Jones. You remain in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Death is not the end. The Bible promises: "Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth."
