My sympathy to the Family. I was at Sandhills State Forest when Woodfin was the District Ranger in Camden. I later became the District Ranger in Walterboro. Woodfin was super good guy and we always enjoyed working with each other. He came to see me 10 or so years ago here at the Piedmont Forestry Center in Oconee County. I am sorry for your loss, but I know he is in a better place.
