Dear Bryan Family,
Wilson was a dear friend of our family, starting when he & Pat lived in Charlotte. I personally remember meeting him in 1970, when he was 38 years old, and a member of the Young Republicans. My mother & father thought so highly of him and of his principles.
His work in the political trenches during the years he was in Charlotte paved the way for some of the victories we have seen since. He was a true patriot. His loss diminishes all our lives, but we can cherish our happy memories of him.
You have my deepest sympathy. May God comfort you at this time.
