We would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the Shaw family. We only met Mike briefly but felt as though we had know him for years. We were having significate problems sifting through the bureaucracy of the VA to ensure our widowed Mother received the benefits she deserved following Dad's passing. As Marine's we reached out to the Marine Corps League. Mike stepped in with advice, counsel, and likely a few well placed phone calls ... and now after 16 years the issue is fully resolved.
Thank you Mike!

Mike was good friend, we graduated from Camden High School in 1965...He joined the Marine Corp that summer, lost contact until we met up at DuPont years later.
He came to my Retirement Service at El-Bethel Church in 2017...I am so glad that I got to spend some time with him @ Lexington Hospital and then last Friday night at Kershaw Hospital....Love and Prayers to Charlene and Meridith and the rest of the Family

Brother Mike had a tender heart for those who don't know the Lord and seeing them reached around the world with Bibles. His and Charlene's caring support has blessed many to receive the Good News of Jesus Christ. David & Beata

The Abundant Life Outreach Ministries family is saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Michael S. Shaw. It is with heartfelt sympathy that we extend our condolences during your time of bereavement. We want to remind you of the words from Psalm 18:2, "…the Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower…." The Lord is there for you, and He will not abandon nor forsake you. In Him, you will find strength, salvation, and compassion to face the coming days. This moment may be quite challenging for you, but with God, you are stronger. May God's peace wrap around you like a blanket. And may you be forever reminded that you are being held securely by the overcoming love of God. You are not alone (Romans 8:35-39). For the Father will comfort and keep you during this time of bereavement. Jesus Christ came to heal the brokenhearted and has promised you everlasting consolation and hope through His grace.
As we continue to intercede and pray the Father’s perfect and direct will for you and your family, we pray that you will stand still and know from whence your help cometh. Be blessed knowing that you are not alone.
