Dr. Bennett appears to have been a man of service from within his heart and through his mind and hands. What a role model he is - even though he rests in peace and still serves through the examples he set. The expression "a man's man" falls short of describing the multitude of facets where he acted and permanently touched lives. Thank you for the uplifting obituary amidst times when folks believe their excuses as to why they cannot measure up. Dr. Bennett did it in far worse times.

My heart is so full of grief. I know he would say something like, Don’t grieve for me. I’m in a much happier place. Grieve for the lost souls and those who have to endure the suffering of this world. Michael was so giving, thoughtful and passionate about the wellbeing of others. If we weren’t talking about his ideas for podcasting, book writing or church and politics, we were just laughing and being silly. I will miss everything about him and I know his family will too.
