I worked with Roger for many years before we both retired from May Plant. He was ornery and so was I. People would ask me how the two of us could get along so well and the answer was simple. We both knew that neither of us would back down so we would never let things get out of hand. We were true friends, ones that could trust each other. Roger was an honorable man and you could depend on him to do what he said. A tough negotiator but true to his word and honest always. We enjoyed and respected each other very much.
Margarete and Family, I know he will be missed, for he was a rock to anchor to in times of trouble. He loved and loves you so much and his children and grands. The scriptures tell us that these three will remain. Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is Love. God bless and keep you.
