Butch, as he was known to us at WJ Keenan High School, kept us fed. He was a special part of our athletic family who spent time with us and supported us. He was part of the family RIP Butch!!!!

The best brother, he was a kind gentle soul. He loved the students, teachers, coaching staff and the band at Keenan High School. He will forever be missed by everyone who knew him. Avid Gamecock fan, never considered pulling against them. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. Your sister Wanda ❤️

Butch was a staple in the WJ Keenan Raider family for decades! While located on Pinebelt, you weren’t a Raider if you never climbed that hill for a hamburger or hot dog and a suicide drink! Thank you l, Butch, for your service to the Raider Family! Rest well, sir! Prayers extended to the family

MR. BUTCH (As we Keenan HS students called him) was a GOD SEND. He kept us fed through our high school years. As a Raider Alumni, we extend our sincerest condolences and offer prayers of peace to the family of Mr. Grubbs. Heaven truly received an Angel!
