Theodore V. Evangelista ELGIN – A celebration of life service for Theodore Vincent Evangelista, 62, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Camden’s First Church of the Nazarene 2276 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, S.C. 29020. The Rev. David Snodgrass will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camden’s First Church of the Nazarene. Teddy passed away April 8, 2014. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary Marro Evangelista. The Tedster retired from his career as a test Engineer with ITT Defense after 25 plus years of service. Teddy was an active member of Camden’s First Church of the Nazarene. He loved music, especially playing the drums and the guitar. Growing up in Bloomfield and Clifton, N.J., he was a leather-wearing bad boy who found Christ and used his passion for music to serve the Lord. As a child of Christ he ministered and witnessed to many whenever God called him. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Deborah Hancock Evangelista; sister, Janet E. Cucuzzella (Arthur); step-children, Tamara Mok (Jason), Jacquelyn Leslie; and grandchildren, Samara, Sierra, Sybella, Kyle, and Kaylee Mok, and Jonathan Leslie.
