Dear Deborah,
I just this very second learned of my cousin Ted's passing. That's right, no one told me.
I just found out (by accident, actually).
Not being in much contact with family any longer, I pray that cousin Ted is at peace and at one with the Lord.
Ted and I were very close, when we were kids.
I remember us sneaking off to smoke cigrettes under a road bridge near his house as young teens. He was even quite the electronics guru back then !!
Also, I am deeply sorry we had never had the chance to meet, mostly due to my own mixup.
Anyway, I am stll processing this news...so I simply wanted to let you know that my prayers are for Ted, and you, and your family. Blessings, always...
Thoughtfully yours,
Arthur Evangelista, PhD (Montana)

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your thoughts, memories, and condolences. It means so much to me that so many people are reaching out by phone, cards, letters, emails, at my front door, and on this guest book.
My Teddy was always such a private, humble, and quiet person but he touched SO MANY lives. I continue to hear stories about how he brought people to Christ in his quiet and unassuming way. Stories that he never told me because he never boasted.
Oh, God, I miss him so much.
My only comfort is that he's free of the pain and he's surely touched the face of God and is singing and playing his music at Gods banquet table!!
18 years ago I started calling Teddy "my angel", and now I truly feel that he is !

Very sorry to hear of your loss Deborah. I had the honor of knowing Ted and working with him for a few years. What a great guy. He has been sorely missed since he left here, and I know he'll be sorely missed by everyone.

Debbie,
We were so sorry when Tim told us that Ted had passed. He was and is a good Christian man and a wonderful musician. So glad he used that talent to praise the Lord. Please know that we are praying for you in this sad time. May God Bless You. Just remember that Ted is with HIM now and no longer in pain.

I like to express my condolences to Debbie and Teddy's family. I knew Teddy from ITT for 20 years. I was invited to the Point Pleasant NJ house one time. It was a special occasion. Teddy loved to play drums. Eddy Chaferdini, and two other friends that used to work at ITT and we were all jamming. Teddy was in his element when he was involved with music. Teddy fought a good fight and I am sure between the pain and other difficulties that Cancer brings, it wore him down. I am sure that Teddy is at a better place know. Farewell my dear friend!

Ted, you were much more than a coworker and friend. You were at my wedding, and with me when I bought my first electric guitar. We would play guitar together at work during lunch. When you retired and moved, I felt I lost a good friend. You were the first person I called when my wife passed away 3 years ago. You will be missed by all lucky enough to know you and share your music. My heart goes out to Deb and your family.

Deb, I have had the pleasure of meeting you and Ted, and was honored that he played How Great Thou Art while I sang it, I remember how Ted taught me when to come in on a song. We laughed and I could see him on the bench right now. From that moment on we all were on the Praise Team together. I so enjoyed it giving God the praise as he deserves. We also had Bible Study where we laughed, cried and rejoiced together, as well as our Prayer meetings. I am praying for you and your family as you say until we meet again. I love you with all my heart and am rejoicing with Ted as he is playing for God.
Love & Prayers Always

Ted Evangelista, now you're at peace, brought home by the angels to your father's feet. Blessed are we all that you touched our lives.
When I learned of your journey home, I saw the photos begin to scatter. So many memories from years that mattered. I saw us all down in my parents basement, listening to the song you four had blended. I then saw the few times we hung together, Karaoke, we sang some songs together. The next page skipped to down in your basement, I was so pleased to now be a member. Twice there were bands that I had joined in. Memories that are dear to me forever. The songs you and I sang are now burned in my heart.
There was another blessing when I met your wife. Deborah Evangelista, you waited so long to have her by your side. I am so grateful, you both were so blessed.
Ted, you have touched so many and now you will touch so many more as you look down, in peace , in love and with no more pain. You will be missed , my friend. I thank you for gracing my life. —

Deb,
I am praying peace and comfort surrounds you as you walk through this deep season of loss. You and Teddy were so perfectly intertwined together. No one could have loved and cared for him like you have before and after his fight with cancer. I will be forever God allowed you two and I to become friends. I love you my friend.
