I have many good memories of Uncle Bo from when my brother Phil, sister Jackie and I were kids. Stevie used to hit baseballs to us, take us fishing and play "Brandy" on his guitar. I think Stevie was the funniest of our uncles and certainly had a real zest for life when it came to sports and outdoors activities. He was definately a real joker, always with a slight grin, and for that he will be most remembered by me.
For aunt Sharon I share my heartfelt condolences for your loss and pray fervently that God will grant you a peace that surpasses all understanding.
At times of loss, I am comforted by one passage from the Book of Prayer that reads:
As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives
and that at the last he will stand upon the earth.
After my awaking, he will raise me up;
and in my body I shall see God.
I myself shall see, and my eyes behold him
who is my friend and not a stranger.
For none of us has life in himself,
and none becomes his own master when he dies.
For if we have life, we are alive in the Lord,
and if we die, we die in the Lord.
So, then, whether we live or die,
we are the Lord’s possession.
Happy from now on
are those who die in the Lord!
So it is, says the Spirit,
for they rest from their labors.

I am sorry I cannot be there but I am in spirit. May Gods light shine eternally on Stevie.
