Mable, it is with true sadness to learn of your mother's passing. Mrs, Gill was very kind, fair, and considerate each time I dealt with her. I often witnessed the care and affection shown toward your mother in both a professional and casual manner. You were indeed blessed to have her for 97 years.

Mrs. Mable will always be remembered by the Larry Frye family as a kind and loving Christian friend to us. She lived her faith with her words and actions. The members of North Columbia Baptist Church will miss her freshly canned plum jelly too! We look forward to seeing her again in Heaven one day!

Mable, Tom and Family, Mrs. Gill was my other mother on Stewart Street. She was an example of strength, a soft spoken gentle ‘Giant’ of a woman. Her home was warm and inviting especially growing up. She laughed and I’ll always remember stirring in some batter…’I have the spoon’. Your mother loved her family. You were her ‘joy’.
