Obituary of Tye Davis

SEATTLE, WA – A service to celebrate the life of Thomas Brown “Tye” Davis, Jr., 37, will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Gary Rivas will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church family life center.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Habitat Restore, PO Box 1525, Camden, S.C.  29020 or Food For Soul, 110 E Dekalb St, Camden, SC 29020.

    Tye passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021.  Born in Plano, Texas, he was the son of Deborah Hudson Davis and the late Thomas Brown Davis, Sr.  He attended Washington State University and made Seattle his home.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed riding motorcycles, water sports, hiking and camping.

    Tye also had a love for arts and music. He was known by all that knew him for his happy and joyful spirit.

    Surviving are his mother, Deborah Hudson Davis of Camden; sisters, April Kaynor (Bobby) and Heather Hoffmeister (John) and Browning Davis; niece and nephews, Trey Fitts, Meredith Fitts Loudenback, Ashton Bozard, Bo Bozard, Walker Perotti and Jay McGirt, Jr.; aunts, Sandy Hudson Fitts and Denise Hudson McGirt; and companion, Stephanie Burgy.
