Obituary of David Rabon
LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Morris David Rabon, 71, will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral home with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Stewart Kidd will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Rabon passed away at home on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Ruth Neely Rabon. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Mack Truck. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Mr. Rabon enjoyed metal detecting and was a member of the Relic Club in Cayce. He enjoyed quilting and woodworking and was known for his homemade bread that he blessed so many with for years.
Surviving are his wife, Annette Rabon; sons, Jason David Rabon (Morgan W.) of Lugoff and Nicholas Aaron Rabon (Meagan) of Columbia; sisters, Patricia Jean Spinks, Brenda Gail Dabbs (Barry) and Evelyn Sue Rabon; brothers, Larry Richard Rabon (Nancy) and Alvin Eugene Rabon (Becky); and grandchildren, Jacob Austin Rabon and Brooke Mayson Rabon.
