Obituary of Rhonda R. Smith

CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for Rhonda Rae Smith, 62, will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at 15 Live Oak Lane, Camden, S.C.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SCOA Foundation, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, S.C.  29210.

    Mrs. Smith passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.  Born in Moorhead, Minn., she was the daughter of the late Merlyn Charles and Darlene Eleanor Richards Deinhart.  She enjoyed crafts and traveling.  She was a wonderful wife and mother, but she cherished her role as grandmother.

    Surviving are her husband, Richard Edgar Smith, Jr.; daughters, Stefanie Smith Derwort (Jeff) and Kristina Smith Woods (Nick); sister, Renee Hearn (Mark); and grandchildren, Ben Merlyn Woods, Thomas Richard Woods and Lilian Grace Derwort.
