Obituary of Marie S. Sill
CAMDEN – The family of Marie S. Sill, 84, will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. A burial service will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Pastor Stephen Mims of Pisgah Lutheran Church of Lexington will officiate.
Mrs. Sill passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Born in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Henry Sandridge and Virginia Bunch Duncan. Mrs. Sill was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Palmetto Health and Waccamaw Family Practice. She was also an interior decorator for her husband’s residential building business.
Mrs. Sill and her late husband Roy H. Sill were married for 55 years and had a beautiful blended family of children, Elaine S. Rowles (Everett) of Lugoff, Jean S. Jones (Stephen) of Monks Corner, Roy Douglas Sill (Donna) of Atlanta, Ga., Virginia T. Butler of Lexington, Dawn T. Barber (Jack) of Lexington, Michael D. Sill (Ginny) of Louisville, Ky. and Hope S. Munn (Aaron) of Lugoff; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Alice Sandridge and Henrietta Team; brother, Philip Bunch; and a son-in-law, John Butler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Karesh or Compassionate Care Hospice.
