Dear Megan and Brett, we are so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a special person in that he was honest and said what he though, all the while making everyone smile. He was blessed with a sense of humor that could make you laugh at the comical things he said and did. He loved his family and his cars. When you think of him and his funny anecdotes, we pray that this will help you remember the good times you spent with him. May God's love and grace surround you all and bring you peace. Praise God that although he has left this world, you will see him again at a glorious reunion in heaven! Praise God for his life and his legacy. Thoughts and prayers for you all,

It is so difficult to know what to say about someone that was loved by so many. To meet Maurice and know him meant you were his friend for life he never forgot you and he always had a smile ready for each and every one he saw. I knew Maurice in school when just a teenager. I remember his love for his car and then cars and his comical words kept us going through those dull school days. . As he grew older seeing him meant that he would have a new story to tell about his travels or time with his children and grand children he was so proud of his family. I do believe his brother Gary even in high school days was and continued to be one of his favorite people to talk about. You could tell he was very proud of his brother. He spoke his mind but what he said was good words of wisdom or advice to remember and focus on at a later date as you know Maurice said that. His views on life were so inspirational and also entertaining to all who took the time to listen. Sometimes you did not know with that smile of his if he was serious or just kidding around to see what you would answer back. He was definitely a person that you could never forget, his kindness will live on in the hearts of family and friends for years to come. Cause being Maurice's friend never had an end, just continued on as times to reflect on and smile knowing he would too. Megan Brett I am so very sorry I did not know how sick he was but he never was one to speak much of details just mostly found a way to smile through it all but one thing for sure he sure loved the both of you and your children with all his heart. He believed one of the greatest things in life were his children. His goodness will live on in the happy memories of all who were Blessed to call him a friend.

To the Muff Family, I am so sorry to hear of Maurice passing.I will miss him dearly and all his crazy comments on FB....We had been friends for many years. Sometimes seeing him at the Huddle House, he would come over and still a spell, laughing and joking. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

My prayers go out to my cousins Brett and Megan. As well as my Aunt Lana. This family has taken care of one another for years. Growing up , I remember Maurice talking about taking his kids to the races. And how much fun they would have. Even after all the years passed he was still such a great man to my Aunt , and an amazing father to his kids and grandfather to his grands. Maurice had a laugh you would never forget. Looked so much like Chevy Chase. I am so sorry for their loss.
