Elaine, I just found out about "Frenchie's" passing and wanted to express my sympathies. I have so many wonderful memories of years worth of swim parties at your home. We seemed to live at your house sometimes because we were there so often! Mom and Dad (Carol and Chris/Brian Whalen) would always pack the cooler full of food and drinks, toss in the towels and off we would trek to spend hours and hours at your home.
I remember Frenchie showing off the organ he had purchased with the free lessons. He was THRILLED with his purchase and was so excited to show it off. I also remember listening to the stories about the bulk soap products and the freezer full of meat. I also remember Dad talking him into having a greased watermelon contest in the pool! Dad never lived down how long it took to clean that crisco out of the pool but man oh man did we have fun!
The only solace I can offer is the idea that Frenchie and Dad will find each other in Heaven I'm certain that the two of them will pour a drink, pull up a chair and spend hours catching up and sharing memories of their past hijinks before heading into another fun filled adventure.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you tonight.

Elaine....my thoughts and prayers are with you in the passing of Larry. In the days to come, keep the memories you have of Larry. Psalm 121 is one of my favorite Scriptures as it tells us where we get our help and protection and His presence. Love you. Diane Jackson Rabn
