I know how difficult today is for all of you. Betty Jane was one of the sweetest most caring friends I have ever been Blessed to hae in my life. She always remembered the good times and tried to except the bad times with a smile and continue on. She always put others first and herself second. She would stop whatever she was doing no matter how important to console a friend and lend a hand. I can't say enough good things about this lady because the list goes on and on since she has been my friend since I was a child before I ever knew the meaning of friendship she and I were friends. WE cried together laughed together had fun together. My fondest memory of her is going to her house to see her her mom and dad with my mom and dad. Even as a small child she shared her toys and enjoyed doing it. There was no selfishness in this girls heart. She loved with all her heart even then she put others first. WE made mud pies together yes we did right at the back door of her mom and dad's house, on the same property where she continued to live for a lifetime, because with Betty sentimental had meaning and was to be cherished for a lifetime which is how she carried on after losing her mom and dad was by remembering the good and getting past the sad. I know that would be her advice to all of us to remember her good and she had so much of that to share with the world. I wish I could tell you something to help you with this day but I know that not one word can make it better. I just hope knowing how much she was loved will help in some way during the bad will bring a little good. She loved her children her grand children and her great grand children and was so very proud of each of you. She always saw the best in each and every person in her life. She believed that even with a wrong in life you learned and got better, she actually told me that once a very long time ago. We played together attended school together from first grade we started an excited journey yet a bit scary and having a friend like her was the best to have someone to encourage you and say it'll be Okay meant so much at such a young age cause you knew with her you would not be facing fear alone she would always have your back. We didn't visit often enough when we grew up and had families of our own to care for but the caring for each other never stopped when we did see each other it was like there had never been a time in between, she gave the always hug and a kiss on the cheek and a Love You Girl when we parted, The Best that I can always say about Betty was she did care about each and every person she ever met you were always in her heart and she did have enough love in her heart for every one. There is so much to say about this amazing lady the list goes on and on but with a smile a hug and a kiss on the cheek I will say to you my dear sweet friend love you girl until we see each other again always my angel always in my heart sending Prayers to all that she loved and that was an endless list
