Jerry, I love your daughters! I was lucky at long last to see your fabulous fireworks on the 4th of July. I loved visiting your SC pool, and just everything about you. I know you are celebrating your reunion in Heaven with the one and only Sally! We will send up a few rockets this year!!! Godspeed sweet Jerry. Love, Becky and Earle Bee

I remember Jerry as a fun loving guy who enjoyed many adventures during his life. I especially enjoyed driving our cars at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. Jerry had an imported Porsche 911 that had been heavily modified with bondo body filler. He once was asked by a woman at a gas station to fill her car as he stood nearby in his red driving suit. We had a lot of fun and survived to tell about it. We will all miss him.

I had the privilege of meeting Jerry in Liberal Kansas at the start of my journey with my Dad, Rich and Don to ride motorcycles on the Trans American Trail. I had been riding all my life but I had never been on a trip like this. Thousands of miles off road with paper maps to guide us and only half baked plans on where we would stay and eat. Jerry drove the van and became the logistician. He found our hotels and food, and acted as the grown up of our group, as much as he could. He keep us from sleeping on the floor of a warehouse, saved me from being lost in the desert, and kept the whole group from getting lost in a town with only one road in or out. His humor and cool wit was something I always looked forward to after a long day in the saddle. Hearing him, Rich and Don and my Dad are memories I will always think about when I need a happy thought. Jerry facilitated my great adventure with my Dad across the country, a gift I’ll never forget.
The next few years we always meet up at the Fourth of July party. His displays got more and more impressive, giving everyone a great holiday. He was always grinning and working as the rest of us partied. My kids got to see fireworks that rivaled most small towns displays.
I’ll miss Jerry, and his gift of making sure everyone around him is having a good time. Thanks for all the great memories.

As the original Geezer, creator, eldest member and overall Master of our PlayStation GranTurismo Geezer Club we were always happy to be a part of the online auto racing game with him. We will miss Jerry so much. We geezers are all over 60, many of us are over 70 so we often times laughed as we shared many similar memories of our youth. Playing the game is secondary to visiting with each other, Jerry, being the eldest was held in the highest esteem, the Dad if you will we turned to for counciling, talking about lifes challenges, looked up to by us all. We knew Jerry was an officer in the United States Army and we appreciated his service to this Great Nation. We Thank you Jerry for the good times we shared and we pray you know how much we miss and will miss you good Sir. GOD Bless and Keep you. May your family and close friends be blessed. I did not know Jerry in real life. I knew Jerry from the 'Geezer Club' that he created for online racing for the over 60,s. I joined this club a couple of years ago and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. The fun, the banter, the racing, it has been an absolute blast. Thank you Jerry for creating this club and bringing together a great group of guys. You will be missed mate but your motto will stay with us always, "No man left behind" Rest in peace Jerry.

Our group of online racers over 60 years of age have all met because Jerry had an idea that a GEEZER CLUB should be formed. He did that June 6, 2014 on gtplanet.net. Geezers from at least 7 countries have met 3 times a week over the last 6 years racing with each other, laughing and cutting up like we were kids. This Saturday Dec 5th we will have a celebration of his life with us with an online event. We miss him dearly.

My family was so blessed to have Jerry in our lives. My children grew up considering him a grandfather, and were very fortunate to have him as a role model. He shared what he knew, and opened his home to us when we visited. We loved the beach vacations we shared, and just spending time with him and Sally (and George, Lisa, Stacey, Darryl, and Mason). -- Julie Still

You were there for me since the very beginning. I can’t imagine a life without you in my life. I’ll never forget the love and support you gave me. I couldn’t of asked to have a better man be in my life. This is my hardest goodbye...I love you forever, PopPop. Rest easy.

We met Jerry through Sally and enjoyed many occasions together. Reid and I remember fondly their marriage celebration and the joy they shared with one another. It has been several years since we visited Jerry, Stacey and family but the warmth of their family remains a tender thought for us.

Jerry was my company's bookkeeper for several years. One year he wanted to reschedule the issuing of some checks to allow for his participation in a triathlon. With awe and admiration, I inquired about the events in which he would participate. With that signature Jerry Schulte grin he replied "Golf, Billiards, and Poker. Golf becomes Bowling if it rains."

Lloyd and I had the pleasure of having Jerry and his friend stay with us for a few days when the US Open was held on Long Island. Jerry was patient trying to explain the game of golf to me and why it was so exciting to watch.
Lloyd recalled going to dinner and Jerry being such an intelligent person. Jerry taught Lloyd how to maintain a pool without having to purchase chemicals from a pool store.
Often when we would visit Darryl, Stacey and Mason, Jerry would join us or watch when we played board games. He would always make his appearance and then disappear quietly into his apartment. Jerry will be missed but will always be in our hearts.

I had the pleasure to meet Jerry 3 years ago playing GranTurismo in PS4. He created a group in 2014 called Geezers Club and he manage to get together many senior fellows that enjoyed the game as he did. This group use to meet 3 times a week for about 3 to 4 hours each time. Lots of fun and laugh were provided by him with his sharp mind and very funny jokes and observations. I am a Brazilian and learned how to admire and respect this guy that was able to provide fun for many people around the world. Rest in peace my friend
