I am so sorry we lost Marlene. She was a good friend and neighbor. Many, many years ago she taught me how to act like a Christian, not with words but her actions. I am forever grateful for her example. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, I am not in a place emotionally to attend the services but I am thinking of you. As a young child, Marlene was about 5 or 6, I was about 9 or 10, she loved to sit with me and my Mama in church. She would often lie down & put her head in my lap. She would say she felt tired.
