Obituary of Eugene Nelson Lockaby, Jr.

Ridgeway – Eugene Nelson “Gene” Lockaby, Jr., 73, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Mary Lockaby Edwards and the late Eugene Lockaby, Sr.

    Mr. Lockaby served in the U.S. Army for 8 years. He enjoyed fishing.

    Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Boyd Spencer Lockaby; mother, Mary Edward of Simpsonville; children, Ginger Paige Lockaby Looper of Easley, Joshua Eugene Lockaby (Stephanie) of Simpsonville, James Dexter Lockaby (Krista) of Greenville, Jason Lamar Pee (Hollie) of Simpsonville, Joseph Elliott “Joey” Pee (Halston) of Greer; grandchildren, Mason Lockaby, Shelby Looper, Dakota Looper, Joanna Lockaby, Madison Pee, Carson Pee, Jacob Pee; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Joe Avery Lockaby; and siblings, Michael Edward Lockaby and Carolyn Rebecca Lockaby.
