I was truly blessed the day the Lockaby family came into my life. I love Jamie with all of my heart and I truly loved you like you were my real Dad. I miss you already Daddy Gene. I was blessed to have you in my life. I hope you know just how much Jamie and I cared for you. Thank you for all you done for us. Please do me a favor and take care of our (Joe) "JoJo" until his Mama and Dada get there. I can just see you and Joe now walking the streets of gold hand in hand. Please give my monkey man a kiss for me. Heaven gained an amazing angel yesterday. Joanna said to tell you she loves you Papa. We all do. I'll never forget you. Until we meet again Daddy Gene.....Hugs.....

When i first met papa gene after my das passed away, he gave me the biggest hug. I said thank you mr. Lockaby, he grabbed my face and said its " papa Gene to you from now on" i loved that sweet big hearted man.
