CAMDEN – Funeral service for James Gregory “Scrunion” Williams, 51, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Oakridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Keith Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Foundation. Mr. Williams died Saturday, October 15, 2011. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., November 20, 1959, he was the son of Nancy Baker Williams. He was employed with KershawHealth and attended DeKalb Baptist Church. Greg enjoyed volunteering as a coach for disabled children with the Kershaw Softball League. Surviving are his mother, Nancy Williams of Camden; uncle, Kenneth Baker (Joey) of Camden; aunts, Carol Pierce (Reggie) of Memphis, Tenn., Jo Ann Harris of Camden, Peggy Kinney of Seneca, S.C., Ellen Atkinson (Don) of Lugoff and Pat Baker of Lugoff; companion, Gloria Vaida; and several cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle, Leon Baker.
