Words can not express how sad we are to hear of Greg's passing. I have had , like so many other employees at Kershaw Health, the honor of working with him, and considered him a friend. He always took to time to come to the OR in the morning and make sure we were "ok" and ask "do you need anything"..... "are you sure?" and then leave with a smile. No one will ever wear a tool belt like he did:) My memories of him are pleasant. Tommy found him to be very kind and gentle when he worked out with him at the gym. He made everyone comfortable. A true gentle man. I know that you are watching over us because we feel your presence. May God Bless the family, and Gloria. We all knew how much he loved his family, his PAL's baseball team, Gloria, and life in general. I hope that you find peace in knowing that he will always be a shining star.... God Bless..... Pam and Tommy Nichols.

Nancy and family: I still can't believe that Greg has gone. I will always remember his bright smile and the kindness he showed me. I have been your friend for 38 years and feel like I have known Greg his entire life. He knew how much his mother loved him and without a doubt he loved you just as much. The days will be long without him here but Heaven has surely made him a new home there. My heart aches and goes out to all of you: family and friends. Gone way too soon; but never forgotten! May we all find strength in the love of God and in our memories and times shared. God Bless and I love you!

Greg, I miss you good friend, yet I know you are in a better place. There is no surprise reading these testimonials to your life, no surprise in how you cared for others less fortunate, no surprise in hearing how you lit up others' lives or in the love you gave. May God comfort your family and all those feeling the pain in these dark hours. You have been an inspiration to me in the short time I've known you. I pray that someday we will ride together again.

My heart goes out to Greg's mom, Nancy, to his family and to his dear companion, Gloria. Greg's smiles and his short visits to my office were often highlights of my day. Being the only gal in the group of guys in the Maintenance Department, Greg always made me feel special. Quite often he would unlock and open my door for me just before I would arrive. He was a sweet and thoughtful gentleman. And, I shall never see a jar of hot pepper jelly without thinking of Nancy and Greg. He'd say, "Mom's making some more jelly, she's going to send you some." I have a jar left now which I may never find the heart to use...miss you Greg.

It is so hard to say good bye to such a great friend. Greg, you took the time to teach my grandson, Lane, to play guitar. You also took him out to look for arrowheads..he found one. Of course he did not know you planted it. Things like this shows the kind of man you were. I will never forget these things. You will be missed more than words can express. Your mom has been my best friend for 36 years. We have shared many good times together and had many long talks and laughs..To your entire family...please know I love each one of you and have you in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if I can do anything. May God bless each and every one of you and give you strength and comfort during this time.

Dear Family,
Words cannot express our deepest sorrow at this time. It is unimaginable that Greg should be taken from us especially now. He shall be remembered as such a loving man and the best son to our friend Nancy. Although we are not related, still we consider you all part of our family.
Tried to attend the visitation and although I cannot stand for the two hours + as I was told, my heart rejoiced to see all the wonderful people who were there to celebrate Greg.
If there is anything we can do please do not hesitate to ask and we'll keep in touch also,
Love,
Margo and Jamila Memon

To say that Gregory's smile will forever be missed in our lives is a huge understatement! He was such a kind, sweet and gentle giant underneath his hard core Harley gear. He loved and helped people in quiet ways many people never even knew. He loved his PAL baseball team, they were his pride and joy! He so loved to see his kids smile when they hit the ball, or when he pushed them around a base at top speed in their wheelchair. He is one of the best friends I ever made in my life, and that gave me another gift, Miss Nancy. My prayer is that you feel well enough very soon to see these comments, and feel all the love that people felt for your precious son Gregory. Much love to all the family.

There are so many things I would like to say to you right now. I'll start off by saying You were such a Wonderful person. You taught me so much growing up. I'll never forget the time you picked me up from school when I was in the 3rd grade after falling off of the monkey bars and you took me to Youngs to get me an Icee. You were always there for me and You will never be forgotten!!! You were such an inspiration to me and my sisters. Even though you were not my TRUE uncle, you will always be the closest thing to an Uncle that I will ever have. My memory of you will always be your Smile and the way you always had something to say to comfort me when i needed it. It's so hard to beleive that you are gone! I still can't bring myself to Reality!!

My prayers for his family as they deal with this tragic loss, and also as they deal with his mom's sickness. Your family will be supported by me in thought and prayer. Greg ...
