Dear family of Brother Doug Jones,
My heart was touched this morning when my husband, Gary told me of the passing of Brother Jones. I recall his presence, always in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and particularly his service as Ward Clerk in several Bishoprics; one being to Gary's father, Merlin K Fish who, too has since passed on. My personal memory of Brother Jones was to have been aware of his kind and gentle nature. Gary said it best this morning: "He was a good man." To me, a "good man" translates into a "godly man". That, so well describes Brother Jones. With the passing of this mortal life, how happy he must be to embrace those who have gone before. Moreover, even though he will be missed, how happy his family who is still here on earth can be for the promise to know this wonderful man and father will always be near them.
