LUGOFF – Funeral service for Lou G. Lynch, 58, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church. Rev. John Mims will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Rusty Lynch, Jody Lynch, Kevin Lynch, Gabriel DiBiase, Angelo DiBiase, and Clay Frith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Willie Mickle, Joey Dorton, Billy Frith, Bobby Lynch, and Herman Parker. The family will receive friends Monday 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church, 45 Roseborough Road, Lugoff, S.C. or Lugoff Elgin High School ABLE Club. Mr. Lynch died Sunday, October 17, 2010. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Jesse James Lynch Sr., and Ida Mae Robinson Lynch. He retired from DuPont. He was a supporter of Lugoff Elgin Athletics and was an avid Clemson Fan. He enjoyed antique cars and always enjoyed people. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, James Ann Holcombe Lynch; sons, Chad Lynch (Tracey) of Columbia, and Kyle Lynch of Lugoff; brother, Mike Lynch (Cathy) of Lugoff; and sister-in-law, Marianne Williams Lynch of Camden. He was predeceased by sister, Joanne Smith; and brother, Jimmy Lynch.
