Please accept my sincere sympathy in the "ongoing to Heaven" our precious Jean! She personified Woman! She was Godly, sweet, kind, loving! Knowledgeable, knew the Bible than most preachers, LIved it too! We shall miss her, All women should read her accomplishments, she would never boast, but when I heard her testimony, I have not been the same! It is impossible to pass by a Salvation Army bell ringer, knowing our Jean served with them in NYC. I have never known anyone so mission minded and wanted all to come to Jesus and really know Him! Rest my dear lady,
We shall look forward to meeting you one day on that distant shore! Loving you, Paulette and Robert

Larry, Bill, Betty Jane and families. We can't begin to tell you how much your Mother meant to us and send our deepest sympathy. I know you knew about our neighborhood dinners, way back when, we had just moved here and that was a pleasure and honor when we were invited to join the other three couples. We had such good times and I guess my memories stem from that time. Also the gardening, your Dad & Mom loved the fact that the ground was being used especially your Dad. We all had such great times working that piece of property. Again, we are sorry for your great loss and ours too, Jean was a great friend and we will miss her.

We will miss this gentle-woman with her warm smile, and twinkling eyes. SHe was one of our biggest success stories in the Camden Community Band, and always one of the first to sign up for our "road trips". When she learned that my mother was a resident in the Karesh Wing, she visited her regularly. Mom (whose mind was fading) would say: "Your friend was by." and I would know it was Jean. While we grieve her loss, we are confident that she was met with: "Well done thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord." May she rest in Peace!

Reid Blakeney of Lugoff called me this morning to tell me of the loss of your precious mother. She was always such a special person to me. She has always been such a gift in my life and to our older daughter. During my days in Lugoff, Jean gave of her time to keep and love our Shelby to give me a day "off" to run errands. Every time we have gone through Camden/Lugoff, we enjoyed a visit with Jean. I will surely miss seeing her during our future visits to that area. Peace will surely be Jean's as our Lord will welcome her gentle spirit into His arms.

Mrs. McCallum was such a blessing to all who knew her. She was an especially good friend to my mother who will miss her greatly. I was there to hear her narrate the Christmas Musical by the Silvertones on December 1. What joy and love she demonstrated for her Lord! You are all in my prayers. With much love, Rhonda

Betty Jane, Larry, Bill and family, it is difficult to express what your mother has meant to me and my family. She was one of my Mom's dearest friends and asked my children to call her "Grandma Jean". She was a very special lady and Heaven is a sweeter place because she is in it!!! May God comfort you during this time.
