To the entire Delk Family, we send our deepest condolences for your loss. Randolph was such a generous man... he stayed involved in his community, and gave so much and asked so little in return. He always made it a point to speak to us when we saw him, which made us feel special. Ryland remembers Randolph always being at the ballfields--if there was a game going on, Randolph was there! And who can forget the wonderful BBQ's and the generosity of this entire family. You are all in our prayers...may God give you comfort and peace in knowing that Randolph's suffering is finally over.

I was so sadden to read in the paper tonight of the passing of Judge Delk. I have often asked about him from Ike the few times I have seen him in the past years. I worked at the Columbia Magistrate's Office for 30 years as Office Manager for Judge Jones and became friends with Judge Delk. He was so inspiring when he came to the office to hold his duty court. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May God bless you as I keep you in my prayers.

RANDOLPH WAS A FRIEND TO ALL. HE NEVER MET A STRANGER. HE PREACHED HIS OWN SERMON BY THE WAY HE LIVED AND TREATED OTHERS. THE BIBLE SAYS IN SECOND TIMOTHY 4:6" FOR I AM NOW READY TO BE OFFERED, AND THE TIME OF MY DEPARTURE IS AT HAND. I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH." YOUR HUSBAND, FATHER, BROTHER, RELATIVE AND OUR FRIEND IS NOW WITH JESUS. PAIN HAS BEEN REMOVED AND PEACE HAS FILLED HIM TO OVERFLOWING. THROUGH HIS LIFE MANY OF US HAVE BEEN FED --REMEMBER ALL THE FOURTH'S OF JULY'S AND THE BAR B Q'S....WHAT JOY. ALL OF YOU GAVE AND DID FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY. RANDOLPH HELPED THOSE THAT DIDN'T HAVE OR MAY HAVE BEEN IN NEED. HE LOVED HIS PARENTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE ENDURED MUCH BUT HE KNEW THE GRACE OF GOD WAS EVER WITH HIM AND HIS SALVATION WAS SECURE. MANY HAVE BEEN TOUCHED AND BLESSED BY HIS LIFE. I CARE.
