I have had only a handful of heroes in my life and all were just common men. None were movie stars, sports figures, or politicians. They were every day men who lived such extraordinary lives and made an impact on every life they touched. Bill Dixon was such a man, a true modern day hero. Now,I suppose the question is, Which of us has he inspired enough to try to fill his shoes? We can all start by showing love for one another. God help us as we move forward without our beloved Bill.
