CAMDEN - A memorial service for Tommy Huggins, 57, will be held Thursday, February 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice House, 141 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Mr. Huggins died Friday, February 09, 2007. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Fred Thomas and Imogene Southerland Huggins. He retired from DuPont. He enjoyed auto racing, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, George L. and Alexandra Karvelas Huggins of Cary, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Huggins and Jay L. Moss, Jr. of Voluntown, Conn.; his family, Kim Traywick, Missy and Chris Spitzer and their children, Morgan, Lindsey and Carson Spitzer, and Brian and Amy Morris; and nephews, Jay C. Moss and Samuel F. Moss. He was predeceased by a brother, James D. Huggins.
