I recently learned of Tommy's death. He was my next door neighbor in Camden from 1956 through 1962, and he was a very good friend. I remember his sister Mary and his brothers, James and Timmy, very well. I have many fond memories of our adventures in Camden during childhood, when we would walk or ride bicycles all over town, especially during the summers. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I had no idea Tommy had passed. Tommy knew me when I was a little girl and loved me to pieces. He was very close to my parents, Larry & Jackie Shirley. Although, our paths went different directions, I had occasions to run into him. He was so kind and jovial when we would run into each other. To all the Morris': You have my prayers and support. I know his loss is hard...just know he is SO smiling now!

Pop has always been a special part of my life, as well as my daughters. We were two of many lives that were touched by him. I thank God for the friendship that I have always had with Missy that gave me the opportunity to know Pop and to share so many great memories with them. I felt as if I was part of the family. Pop was always a supporter and always made sure that I knew how proud he was of any accomplishments I've encountered. He will be greatly missed and will forever be remembered. To Missy and her family, Kim, Bubba and his family, and Mama Sherrill, I love you all and I send my condolences and prayers to you. To his Sister and Brother, my prayers are with you too. You were all very lucky to have such a special person as a part of your family!
We love you, Pop!

I am so sorry to hear of Tommy's death. He was a childhood neighbor and friend...always so polite, kind, well-dressed, and always had a smile on his face. I extend my sympathies and prayers to his family and close friends.
I'm so sorry that I never had the chance to tell Tommy thank you for all the times he was nice to me, for all the support he gave me when I was "down"....I'm so sorry that I didn't even know he was ill. We moved to NC in 1967, but I still consider my classmates, friends, and neighbors my family. Camden will always be home.
Blessings to you all. This is such a sad day for me, but I'm sure Tommy is happy now...
Love,
Janie Hoffman Mathis

James and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Tommy Huggins' family. Tommy loved to spend time with his grandchildren, Morgan and Lindsay, and he always included our granddaughter, Emily Truesdale. He loved those little girls, and he enjoyed them and added a lot to their lives. We will miss seeing him on Lake Wateree, and I know that our Emily will miss him, also. May his family find peace in that he shared his time and life with others.
