LUGOFF - A memorial service for Debra Lynn Baughman, 45, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Baughman died Thursday, July 17, 2008 from a vehicle accident in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Willoughby, Ohio, she was a daughter of John Thomas Baumbach of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Beverly Ann Baumbach of Elgin, S.C. Mrs. Baughman came to Wateree Elementary School in Lugoff, S.C. as a substitute teacher, working with all grades and special-needs children, she then worked as a Media Specialist Aid. Mrs. Baughman touched the hearts of numerous children at Wateree Elementary School greeting children with a comforting warm smile and a caring hug. She was a very passionate, loving and caring person. Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Scott Syndey Baughman; daughter, Lindsey Nicole Baughman; son, Aaron Christopher Baughman; sisters, Vicki Truesdale Melton of Lexington, S.C., and Kelly J. Branham of Elgin; brother, John C. Baumbach of Darlington; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Debra L.
