Obituary of Eva C. Bertram
LUGOFF - Graveside service for Eva Caraway Bertram, 86, will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Lyn Hill and Rev. Eric McAvoy will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
Mrs. Bertram, wife of the late Fred E. Bertram, died Saturday, July 12, 2008. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late John Bunyon and Mary Ollie Lowry Caraway. She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and enjoyed bird carving. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Doug Hill of Lugoff; grandchildren, Robert Bertram, Brenda Bertram, Tracey Watson, and Becky Richburg; great-grandchildren, J.T. Watson, Marshall Richburg, Braxton Bertram, and Samuel Bertram; and her dog, “KiKi. She was predeceased by son, Ernie Bertram; brothers, Marion Caraway, Alvin Caraway, Robie Caraway, Rommie Caraway, Eugene Caraway, John Caraway Jr., Buddy Caraway, Oneal Caraway; and sisters, May Wise and Ola Nelson
