LUGOFF – Funeral service for Judy Smith Branham, 54, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Springvale Baptist Church, burial to follow in Old Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Ridgeway. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Lugoff-Elgin Soccer Club. Judy passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Born in El Paso, Texas, she was the daughter of Robert Harold and Glory Yvonnie Jernigan Smith. Judy was a devoted mother who spent her life serving others. She enjoyed being involved in her children’s sports and school activities. Judy also enjoyed gardening and camping in the mountains. She was a member of Springvale Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Jeffrey Keith Branham; parents, Robert and Glory Smith of Camden; children, Jordan Smith (Crisel) of Savannah, PFC Hank Branham, U.S. Army, stationed in South Korea, Gage Branham of the home and Zander Branham of the home; brothers, Robert Harold Smith Jr. of Hemingway and David Smith (Dawn) of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Brucelle Finch of Savannah, Ga.; and grandson, Jayson Smith. She was predeceased by daughters, Joy Smith and Taylor Branham; and brother, Joey Smith.
