Surviving are his companion, Marilyn E. Daniels; children, Linda Watts, Keith Daniels (Denise), David Daniels, Sam Houston, Sally Houston, Lanier Houston (Michelle), Mark Neely, Lisa Applewhite (Bill), Theresa Carter (Dwight); grandchildren, Matthew Carter (April), Elizabeth Privette (Michael), William Bowers, Rebecca Bowers, Cera Bowers, Lottie Dixon, Earl Dixon, and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
