CASSATT- Patricia T. Ray, of Cassatt, died May 22, 2016, at KershawHealth. Born at home on February 11, 1952, in Patrick SC, she was a daughter of the late William “Butler” and Eliza Ingram Brown. Patricia was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly. She loved crossword puzzles and spending time with her loving, devoted husband. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Johnny Ray of Cassatt. She is also survived by a daughter, Patty Holder of Lexington, NC; two grandchildren, Casey and Arron of Lexington, NC; one sister Elvia Pierce of Wallace, SC; one brother Lester (Bobo) Hodge (Renda) of Cassatt; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Otis Ingram, Neil Brown, Wilson Brown, and Marion Brown and four sisters Ruby Boone, Helen Parker, Agnes Brown, and Ellen Thomas. Services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, with burial to follow in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. A special thanks to Anne Marie and Donna Rae for their loving care during her extended illness; to the staff of KershawHealth Home Health, especially Brandie Jackson RN for her loving care; and to the staff of KershawHealth Medical Center, ICU; Kelly, RN with KershawHealth Hospice; and the staff on Med II, especially Danell RN, for their tender care in Patricia’s final hours.
