CAMDEN – Funeral services for Arthur Brown, Sr., 78, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Joshua Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. E.L. Sanders will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Brown, husband of the late Josephine Brown, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Rosa Lee Brown Barns. Mr. Brown was a member of Mt. Joshua Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his hands, including outdoors in his yard and on his cars. He also enjoyed watching action pictures on his TV. Surviving are his children, JoAnn Neadle (Robert) of Columbia, Arthur Brown, Jr. of Clinton, MD; honorable children, Diahann Davis, Steven Clark; siblings, Lucille Wheeler (Jimmy), Laura Kornegay, Martha Halley, Matthew Brown (Alma), Isaac Brown (Daisy); grandchildren, Jazzmin Stevens, Nicole Duff, Jaleassa Stevens, Michael Oliver, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jahiem Turner, Desmon Leach; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Brown Duff; and siblings, Shirley Clyburn, Juanita Joseph, and George Greene, Jr.
