COLUMBIA- Funeral Services for Robert Paul Lancour III, 27, will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Robert died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Darlene Jones Hinkle and Robert P. Lancour Jr. He served in the United States Army and was a combat medic. He was currently employed by Mount Valley Foundation, where he enjoyed working. He enjoyed designing video games, fishing, and most of all spending time with his son. Surviving are his wife, Erica Botley Lancour; son, Liam Daniel Lancour of Elgin; mother, Darlene Hinkle; step-father, Hank Brazell; father, Robert Lancour Jr.; and brother, Michael Henry Hinkle of Columbia; and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and In-Laws.
