CAMDEN – Funeral service for Patricia Cook Johnson, 63, will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Household of Faith Holiness Church with burial to follow in Cedar Cemetery. Patricia, wife of the late Bishop R.O. Johnson, departed this life on April 20, 2016. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Cook. She was also predeceased by a sister, Betty A. Brogdon. She was formerly employed by the Kershaw County Recreation Department, Bank of America in Camden, C & S Bank, and recently before her illness with Piggly Wiggly of Camden. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Household of Faith Church in Hartsville, S.C. where her husband served as pastor. She was a member of the choir and served as the children’s Sabbath School teacher. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two brothers, John Cook of Camden and George Cook of Camden; two sisters, Harriet Cook of Camden and Almetta Holston of Camden; two step-daughters, Marjetta Griffin (Frank) and Peggy Cook; one uncle; one aunt; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of other relatives.
