CAMDEN – Funeral services for Viola H. Brown, 85, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dean Page will officiate. Mrs. Brown, wife of the late Grover Brown, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Tally James and Isabel Montgomery Harris. Mrs. Brown was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking. Surviving are her son, Melvin J. Brown (Gretchen) of Camden; 9 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Albertus Harris, Willie Harris, Eddie Harris, Thomas James Harris, and Josie Bell Murphy.
