CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Martha Janette Walsh Lemons, 82, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Abbey Road Hospice or Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Lemons, wife of the late George Calvin Lemons, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Born in Lenoir, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Esther Elizabeth Lee Walsh. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, George Michael Lemons (Lala) of Gastonia, N.C. and Tracy Calvin Lemons (Jackie) of Seneca, S.C.; brother, William Lee Walsh; sister, Diane Moss; grandchildren, Greg Lemons and his wife, Laura of Charlotte, N.C., and Katrina Wade and her husband, D.J. of Cramerton, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Mylah and Cal Lemons of Charlotte, N.C. She was predeceased by a brother, William Lee Walsh.
