ELGIN – A memorial service for Infant Abney Rose Way Morrow will be held Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. Abney passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Jeremy and Brittney Grigsby Morrow. Surviving are her parents; sister, Graycelynn Hope Grigsby Morrow; maternal grandparents, Ed Grigsby (April) of Elgin, and Louise Grigsby of Elgin; paternal grandparents, Doug and Sherry Morrow of Lugoff; uncles, D.J. Morrow and Adam Grigsby; aunts, Cassie Johnston and Savannah Fish; great-grandparents, Johnny and Jeanette Grigsby, Celeste Murphy, Mable Way, and Floyd and Ruth Morrow. She was predeceased by great-grandparents, Mary Jo Floyd, William “Bill” Murphy, Sr., and Jerry Way, Sr.; uncle, Dustin “Dusty” Johnston; and a cousin, Nicholas Cameron Morrow.
