Obituary of Willie Mae Outen
LEXINGTON – Funeral service for Willie Mae Outen, 73, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Keith Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Serving as pallbearers will be, Peanut Hendrix, Corey Grooms, Justin Caskey, Chris Williams, John S. Williams and Johnny Williams.
On Sunday, January 20, 2013, Mrs. Outen departed this world to join her beloved husband, Cecil Outen, in their heavenly home.
Surviving are her sons, Jack Outen and his wife, Tammy of Lexington and Frank R. Outen and his wife, Connie of Camden; grandchildren, Shaun Outen and his wife, Windy of Savannah, Texas, Adam Outen and his wife, Mandi of Elgin, Virginia Mae Outen of Camden, Jennifer Smith of Lexington, and D.J. Smith of New Jersey; and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Jones and his wife, Earline of Camden; sisters, Sara Hendrix and her husband, Odell of Camden, Ola Williams and her friend, John of Cassatt, and Martha Railey of Camden; and sister-in-law, Joyce Jones of Camden; She was predeceased by her sisters, Anna Marie Jones and Betty Sue Jones, brother, Chester Jones; and a great-granddaughter, Emalee Brooke Outen.
