ELGIN – Funeral service with military honors for Parker Glenn Glover, 66, will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Boys Town National Headquarters, 200 Flanagan Boulevard, PO Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010. Mr. Glover died on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in Nauvoo, Ala., he was the son of the late Glenn and Ruth Dobbins Glover. He retired from the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Russell; children, Stephanie Cannon, Jeremy Glover, Jennifer Knight and Scott Glover; step-son, Michael Russell; sisters, Patsy Evans, Reba Mahaffey and Nancy Glover; brother, Billy Glover; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
