Lugoff – Funeral services for Cleta Jean McGill Liles, 85, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Elgin Congregational Holiness Church. Burial will be private. The Rev. Ronald Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30-8:00 at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Liles, wife of the late Harold Avalee Liles, Sr., passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. Born in Owasso, OK, she was a daughter of the late Orley I. and Esther Hoffpauir McGill. Mrs. Liles was an active member of Elgin Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her sons, Harold Liles, Jr. of Krum, TX, Rev. Robert L. Liles of Elgin, Rev. Calvin I. Liles (Kathleen) of Townsend, DE; daughters, Theresa D. Bales (Walter) of Dover DE, and CoWanda J. Ritter (Steve) of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Hazel Cook; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
