I grew up with Cecil and his brother Danny when they lived on Oakland St. and I lived on Blanding. We enjoyed each other's company and often walked to school together. When the fair was being held in Sumter,I often helped them park cars in their sister's yard. Cecil was always a friendly person and had a hearty laugh. When he went to work at the Christian camp in Ridgeway,I didn't see him very often, but when I did, I saw a smiling face and heard that laugh. He was a genuinely kind and caring person, who definitely will be missed. Sleep well,my friend, because Heaven awaits.
