ELGIN, S.C.- A celebration of life service for George “Butch” Edward Jackson, Sr., will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Lewis will officiate. Mr. Jackson died Saturday, January 2, 2016. Born in Portland, OR, he was a son of the late Walter and Thalia Windham Jackson. Surviving are his children, Cherish Douglas and George Jackson, Jr.; brothers, Van Jackson and Cary Jackson; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
